You will find a sandy beach within walking distance of the park, which is located directly on the Oosterschelde. When you then walk across the dike to the other side, you will find an extensive nature reserve called De Pluimpot. Here you can enjoy hiking, bird watching or cycling. A few hundred meters away there is a diving location with a filling station for the bottles and a boat ramp.
